Lincoln Yards Community Meeting

Wednesday, July 18, 2018 - 6:00pm

Lincoln Yards Planned Development Proposal
Wednesday, July 18, 6:00 p.m.
Near North Montessori School Gymnasium
1434 West Division Street

Please attend the first and possibly the only significant public meeting on Sterling Bay's Lincoln Yards Development.

If you think it is tough to get across the river now, imagine it with . . .

19,000,000 square. feet of new mixed-use development
8,000,000 feet of office space
7,500 residential units (Oscar Meyer District)
1,000 hotel rooms
100+ shops/retail
20,000 seat Soccer Stadium
Multiple large scale LiveNation entertainment venues

This meeting concerns the first 72 acres, just a tiny fraction of the North Branch Corridor. It could expand to 100 acres. Hundreds of questions remain unanswered. Roads and bridges, schools, police and fire protection, transit, open space . . .

Regardless of your opinion of this development, no one will hear it if you do not attend this meeting and speak up. Please attend.

Here’s a list of preliminary questions to consider.

This link is what was to be the full Lincoln Yards Presentation at our Community Advisory Committee meeting with Alderman Hopkins on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Let’s hope the content at our first meeting with Sterling Bay on Wednesday has much more significant and relevant content than this disappointing presentation.
