Public Meeting: 1309 W Belden Ave

SNA is co-hosting a virtual public meeting with Alderman Brian Hopkins to view and discuss a revised development plan for 1309 W Belden. The developer requested the opportunity to present the revised plan after postponing a meeting scheduled in October 2025.

The proposal calls for rezoning the property to allow for the construction of a 47' building containing six residential units on the Belden frontage of the lot, a rear yard and six garage parking spaces.  Unlike previous proposals that have sought to develop the entire lot, this proposal leaves a southern portion of the lot undeveloped.

All are welcome to join. Please register here to receive the login credentials.

Should you have any issues registering for the meeting, please contact the 2nd Ward office at office@aldermanhopkins.com.

SNA and Trebes Park Advisory Council scheduled Chicago’s official Movies in the Park program to visit Trebes Park this summer! It has been some years since the program came to our local park, so we are thrilled.

We hope you can join us Thursday, July 23 at 8:45pm for Jumanji (1995)!

That is right, we are screening the original starring Robin Williams and Chicago’s own Bonnie Hunt!

See you for a movie under the stars!
