COPA Chief Administrator Andrea Kersten will speak at the meeting to address the process followed when allegations are made against a Chicago police officer.  This is particularly relevant considering the recent allegation against an 18th District Police Officer.  While reviews of allegations are an important element of oversight, it is also important to acknowledge an allegation must be evaluated and sustained before any judgements are made.
